Gestagua proposes a 90% performance in supply systems in the face of drought

In a recent webinar, a consensus was reached on the need to implement urgent measures to address the challenge for the coming years. The reduction of non-essential consumption, the promotion of savings practices and raising public awareness, together with the importance of reducing non-recorded water and system losses, as well as taking care of supply sources and digitalization , are some of the necessary measures against drought highlighted in the recent webinar organized by Gestagua. Currently, drought is one of the main challenges for Spain, which requires planning the management of the resource through effective emergency plans that allow a rapid and coordinated response to shortages. The speakers of the webinar agreed on the need to take advantage of the advantages of digitalization in water management, through the implementation of advanced technologies, such as remote control systems, which provide accurate and real-time data on the state of water resources and its distribution. Spain has had Special Drought Plans (PES) since 2007, and the last review of these management instruments took place in December 2018. In 2023, the Ministry for the Ecological.

Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) launched a consultation publishes its review and update; After the approval in January 2023 of the hydrological plans for the period 2022-2027, the PES must be adjusted to said plans that constitute their reference framework, incorporating the improvements identified with the experience of their application in recent years.Maspalomas hosts the second course on attention to diversity at the school The Maspalomas Summer University hosts the second edition of the courses on attention to diversity in educational centers The Maspalomas Summer University hosts the second edition of the courses on attention to diversity in educational centers María del Pilar Etopa, teacher Europe Mobile Number List in Early Childhood Education, Master in Special Education, Graduate and doctor in psychopedagogy, points out the importance of getting information to families in an appropriate way. This program, aimed at 2nd and 4th year ESO students from Secondary schools on the islands of Gran Canaria, El Hierro and La Gomera, consists of carrying out a research study on the effect that lifestyles have on child and adolescent health, in which primary care medical staff, nursing staff, pediatricians and mental health specialists have participated. Its main purpose is to collect information on the long-term impact that different lifestyles have on the physical and mental health of adolescents and young adults.
