The Minister of Justice, Mariano Cúneo Libarona, appointed this Friday the lawyer Ignacio Yacobucci as the new head of the Financial Information Unit (UIF), official sources confirmed. Yacobucci is secretary of the Criminal Cassation Chamber and the government must send its document to the Senate for approval in a public hearing. In the consultation process prior to Yacobucci's appointment, a lawyer from the consulting firm Deloitte had rejected the position due to the low salary proposed. .
