Implementers of continuing education programs or courses aimed at changing cognition and practice believe that, by providing information, content and committing to the rationality of professionals, they will produce changes in attitudes and behavior patterns. It is noted that with technological advances and the implementation of digital instruments in teaching media, many teachers have encountered difficulties in carrying out their activities. As stated by Scherer and Brito (2020), the use of digital technologies means many changes in the way teachers act, learn and work, drastically altering the way they do and think about tasks. Thus, educational institutions become the premises responsible for the use of these technologies for education. However, for Gatti (2003), a fact that draws attention is that these professionals are people who are part of social.

Reference groups in which conceptions of education and ways of being originate, where knowledge may or may not be accepted. or implemented, based on cultural, cognitive and socio-affective influences. For the aforementioned author, this Phone Number List is one of the reasons why many programs aimed at changing cognition, practice and posture have proven ineffective. Its focus on personal cognitive aspects only conflicts with social representations and group culture. In this sense, the question arises as to what is the role and contributions of digital technologies in the continuous training of teachers? Therefore, the general objective of this article is to understand the impacts of technologies on the continuing education of teachers and their performance as a teacher.

Therefore, this study is characterized as a bibliographic review article, in which we sought to analyze, through other studies already published, which bring plausible arguments describing how technological instruments generate changes in the continued learning of teachers. Data collection and analysis occurred through the study and reading of articles taken from the SciELO and Google Scholar databases. It is hoped that with this study, teachers can become aware of the importance of continuous training and the role of technological resources in this process, in addition to understanding ways to apply new activities with the support of digital/technological instruments in their classes, generating positive experiences and increasing the effectiveness of your teaching methods.
